Mom+Me: Hand-In-Hand Combative Training

Our Mom+Me: Hand-In-Hand Combative Training is a 60 minute course designed to teach mothers and daughters life-saving skills while reinforcing their bond. The class engages both parties to have open dialogue with issues they both have and will face in today’s society. Although there is no “age requirement” for this course, we encourage girls at least 7 years old to participate. Come Kick It with Divas In Defense to strengthen your relationship and increase communication.

Fierce & Fabulous (F+F)

Our Fierce & Fabulous prepares the DIVA (Dangerous If Violently Attacked) in you for day-to-day challenges you may face. It enables you to recognize potentially hazardous situations and be aware of your surroundings.

Girls Can Fight Too! (GCFT)

A physical, emotional and psychological enriching self-defense system designed for girls ages 4 and up. We implement real-life scenarios in our training to better prepare our girls for the dangers society present. We are careful and meticulous in conveying societal dangers and issues girls in this demographic face. Our program not only prepares these girls not to be scared, it empowers them to have heightened self-esteem, confidence and fight obesity. 

I’m A Girl – I Can Fight Too!!

Young Divas deconstruct gender roles, expectations, and stereotypes. We help them think critically and assist making decisions on how to look, act, and be based on their individual thoughts and feelings rather than on societal expectations. Young divas learn the historical origins of stereotypes, how to think critically, and the importance of seeing people as individuals will help them challenge stereotypes. They also learn self-love and first response techniques to protect themselves.

Bullying Prevention & Healthy Friendships

Our young Divas define a healthy relationship; set boundaries for themselves in relationships. They learn to use alternatives to language that hurts others and use language they are proud of helps facilitate effective communication and can help them avoid conflict. In addition, they are trained to defend themselves from bullies.

What/Who Are Your Supports & Internet Safety

They identify family, community, and school supports to assist with being a Fierce and Fabulous Girl That Can Fight Too! Young Divas learn about potential dangers of the internet; plan how they will stay safe when using the internet. We discuss cyber predators and identity theft prevention.

I Am Worth Fighting For

Empowerment and personal value are instilled in this segment which introduces young Divas to application of learned techniques in real-life situations. The young Divas grasp the importance of personal safety, awareness and boundary setting in their day-to-day lives. The best way to avoid danger is to realize it before it happens. The final course in this four-part series expedites response time and teaches situation awareness in society.

The course concludes with a Girls Can Fight Too! Certificate of Completion. Girl Scouts WILL RECEIVE four (4) patches. One for each of the four part series.

Self Defense Classes

Punchin’ Luncheon (PL)

Divas In Defense Instructors will come to you and present a lecture on various topics such as Bullying/Workplace Bullying Prevention, Situation Awareness, Crime Prevention, Social Media “NET”-iquette, Sexual Assault Prevention, Identity Theft Prevention, Cyber Safety and much more. In addition, we will also demonstrate self-defense techniques and have a Q & A about a wide array of safety tips and statistics.

On Her Own (OHO)

On Her Own is designed for high school juniors/seniors and college women who will be or currently living alone. The course offers empowerment, inspiration and some street fighting skills developed to counterattack a perpetrator. We let women know they have the right to stand up for themselves in relationships and on the street. Divas In Defense aids in removing young women’s fear as they learn how to escape violent situations. This includes a quickly-learned skill aimed at fleeing almost any sexual assault.

An on-site, fun-filled two-hour course for your group which includes a complete self-defense class, pepper spray and stun gun training, as well as tips customized to your group’s activities. Learn invaluable, life-saving tools and techniques to protect both you and or your family. We travel to you, when and where you want instruction. Hostess responsible for refreshments.

An on-site, two-hour courses for your group which includes a complete self-defense class, as well as tips customized to your group’s activities. We travel to you, when and where you want instruction. Hostess will coordinate with trainer to order cupcakes in advance.<---!more>

Our Kicks & Cupcakes course gives an overview of bullying prevention, sexual assault resistance and much more. It is ideal for group events and birthday parties.

Divas + Dudes (D+D)

Our Divas + Dudes classes are comprised of fundamental strikes, kicks, knees, blocks, awareness, personal and street safety. Modeling after our Fierce & Fabulous classes, if done in a multi-class series, cover important content such as Workplace Bullying, Situational Awareness, Crime Prevention, Boundary Setting & Assertiveness, Personal and Street Safety and much more.

Fit Divas (FIT)

Get with our Fit Divas program! Register for our personal trainer in your inbox. Our Fit Divas program includes daily 20-minutes workouts and nutrition plan delivered to your email.

Get prepared to defend yourself by conditioning your body for a possible attack. Naturally, most attackers prey on the weak and timid; similar to predators in the wild. Don’t get in a position to not have the energy to run away in case of attack.
